McDonalds Ballarat Football Netball League is thrilled to announce a new partnership with local company, the Athletic Club Brewery who will become the League’s official beer supplier for the 2017 season.
Located in the center of Ballarat, the Athletic Club Brewery are a Ballarat community’s family owned small batch brewery. Boasting an eclectic range of beer styles, the Athletic Club Brewery give you a taste of Ballarat you won't soon forget. Many people would already know the Athletic Club Brewery brand following their involvement in the Ballarat Beer Festival or simply by driving past their centrally located premises on Mair Street.
Commercial & Regional Operations Manager Aaron Nunn said, “We’ve been on the hunt for a new partner in this area for over 12 months now and to be associated with a locally owned family run business in the Athletic Club Brewery is something we are really looking forward to helping Peter and his team promote their business across the Region.”
The new partnership will see the Ballarat Football Netball League offer Athletic Club Brewery craft beer exclusively at all League events and work with clubs to offer their products during their home and away fixtures. The 2017 BFNL Senior Finals Series will also be known as the Athletic Club Brewery Finals Series.
“One of the most exciting elements of this new partnership is our ability to design our own beer label in conjunction with the Athletic Club Brewery. Clubs have the ability to brand their own beer label with club logos or supporting partners. It’s a really creative way for clubs to benefit from this partnership as well,” Mr Nunn said.
Athletic Club Brewery Owner and Operator Peter Parry said, “The BFNL is the foundation of our sporting community and culture here in Ballarat and we’re really excited about coming together as Ballarat’s community brewer to partner with the league. We’re especially excited about the prospect of delivering a beer the league and the clubs can be really proud of and call their own.”
The Athletic Club Brewery is located at 47 Mair Street East, Ballarat and are open to the public seven days a week. They run special self-brew sessions and can custom make labels to display on cans and bottles.
